Difficilmente guardo la pubblicità ma quella volta che avevo acceso la televisione solo per compagnia e non la guardavo, una deliziosa canzone ha catturato la mia attenzione. Ho alzato gli occhi per guardare e la grafica dello spot mi ha affascinato così tanto che alla fine non ho fatto neppure caso a che cosa stessero pubblicizzando. Di sicuro era un'auto ma ho dovuto aspettare che ritrasmettesero la pubblicita per saperlo.
Un breve giro in internet per scoprire tutto. The cat came back è una filastrocca che risale addirittura al 1893.
E' la storia di un gatto giallo il cui padrone, il signor Johnson fa di tutto per liberarsene senza successo.Il ritornello della canzone parla appunto del ritorno del gatto:

De cat came back—thought she were a goner,

But de cat came back for it wouldn't stay away.
